High-precision cutting performance does not only depend on carbide teeth. The stability of the steel blade body is equally critical. Without proper heat treatment and tension calibration, blades will deform, vibrate and produce wavy cuts after long-time high-speed rotation.
At RayLan factory, the alloy steel blank undergoes precise quenching and tempering heat treatment. The process stabilizes internal metal grain structure, achieving balanced hardness and toughness. It prevents permanent deformation caused by repeated thermal cycles during continuous cutting. After heat treatment, we perform professional tensioning adjustment, which releases internal stress inside the disc.
Tension calibration is a delicate manual + CNC combined process. Technicians detect flatness and runout data, then adjust tension distribution point by point. Proper tension allows the blade to keep flat at working temperature, minimizing wobble and noise. This greatly improves cutting straightness and reduces edge burr on aluminum or wood panels.
We equip digital testing equipment to record tension data for every batch. Each finished blade will pass runout detection before packaging. Compared with untreated ordinary blades, our tension-calibrated products deliver quieter operation, cleaner cutting surface and longer sharpening cycle.
This set of processes is especially valuable for panel saw and sliding table saw applications. RayLan’s strict control over blade body quality helps our customers reduce scrap rate and improve finished product quality.
